We are looking for two Senior Lawyers to cover two open positions in our global legal area. One in our Legal Financial Information team and other in our legal Exchanges team. You will work in a diverse and adaptable environment in close cooperation with colleagues in various jurisdictions, and both internal and external clients, contributing to strategic initiatives that shape the future of our markets.

What You Will Do
- You will be part of an international team of lawyers acting as legal partners to SIX Business Unit Financial Information (“BFI”), as the provider of cross-asset reference and market data; financial indexes and RegTech services or to the Legal function dedicated to supporting the Business Unit Exchanges, providing pragmatic legal advice and support in day-to-day business.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial material contracts and provide legal advise on business projects, including M&A; transactions, draft and support in the negotiation of material contracts.
- Analyze and assess business initiatives for their compliance with applicable laws, such as Spanish supervisory law (e. g. Securities Market and Investment Services Act), EU regulations (e. g. MIFID and MIFIR), competition law, contract law,
and regulations of the Exchange (eg. Listing Rules or Trading Rules).
- Prepare submissions to, and liaise with, CNMV as part of key interactions with authorities.
- Management of governance and secretariat of your represented legal entity.
- Identify legal risks and propose practical, business‑oriented solutions aligned with risk appetite and regulatory expectations.
What You Bring
- Master's degree in law and admission to the bar and/or further education such as dissertation / LLM advantageous.
- More than 4 years of relevant professional experience, ideally at a law firm with exposure to financial regulation and company secretarial matters and/or as in‑house counsel in the financial sector.
- Strong track record in drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts and/or strong interest in exchange business and financial market infrastructure, with the ambition to further specialize in exchange and securities law.
- Solid understanding of corporate governance and legal entity management in an international group context.
- Independent, practical and solution-oriented approach with high quality standards able to work in a fast-changing environment.
- Excellent business English and Spanish skills. Spanish or German will be a plus.
