Come join us in reshaping the future of Engineering and Architecture Projects.Who are we?IPS is an international company delivering in-house engineering and specialized services in Project Management, Automation, and Architecture for industrial projects.With EPCM expertise and a presence in more than 10 countries, we combine general reach with a strong entrepreneurial and team‑driven mindset.We are looking for aProject Engineerto join our team in Barcelona, supporting industrial projects within theAnimal Nutrition, Pet Care sector or Food and Beverage.You will participate in projects ranging from production improvements and process optimization to large‑scale industrial investments, ensuring successful project delivery in terms of quality, budget, and timelines.Project PhasesStrategic Consulting: project master planning, conceptual engineeringProject Feasibility: process definition, plant layout, scheduling, CAPEX estimationProject Preparation: investment analysis, basic engineering, permitting, procurement strategyProject Realization: project management, detailed engineering coordination, construction and commissioning managementThe Project Engineer ensures the delivery of high-quality services to the client, within defined budget and timelines.ResponsibilitiesProject documentation, cost control, and schedulingCoordination of stakeholders (internal teams, contractors, production teams)Construction supervision and commissioning activitiesFull project lifecycle: from feasibility to execution and start‑upIndustrial environments with strong process focus (production lines, automation, equipment integration)Continuous improvement methodologies (TPM, Lean, Industry 4.0 initiatives)Working in operational environments with a strong focus on safety, quality,



and efficiencyValuable experiencePet food / animal nutrition / food processing industryProduction lines (extrusion, mixing, drying, packaging, etc.)Industry 4.0, digitalization, or automation projectsMid‑to‑ 1 M€)Experience in commissioning and ramp‑up phasesRequirementsIndustrial Engineering (Production, Mechanical, Chemical, or similar)3 to 6 years of experience in industrial project environmentsExperience in process‑driven industries (ideally pet care / food / FMCG)Strong understanding of plant operations and production processesFluency in Spanish and English (C1 level required).
