We’re Hiring: Software Engineer / Data Engineer (Azure, Databricks, Python)
We’re looking for a skilled Software/Data Engineer to join a high-impact project focused on modernising applications within the Azure ecosystem.
This role is idóneo for someone experienced in application migration, particularly transitioning solutions from R/Shiny to Python-based environments.

Role Overview
You will play a key role in migrating existing applications from Posit (R/Shiny) to Databricks Apps (Python/Shiny for Python). The focus is on ensuring seamless transitions, optimising performance, and enabling scalable data solutions within Azure.

️ Key Responsibilities
• Analyse existing Posit (R/Shiny) applications and define optimal migration strategies to Databricks Apps (Python)
• Migrate applications and ensure high-quality, scalable implementations
• Configure Databricks as the primary data platform supporting migrated applications
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate code migration from R to Python




• Design and develop data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Azure SQL
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with business needs
• Act as a technical point of contact for stakeholders and provide guidance
• Troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions to improve system performance

• Experience with application migration (R → Python preferred)
