Electronic Hardware Engineer

technical leadership role

in the development, verification, and documentation of

Hardware components

Lead the design, development, testing, and qualification of Electronic Control Units (ECUs) for aerospace applications. Lead the design, development, testing, and qualification of Electronic Control Units (ECUs) for aerospace applications. Perform and review analogue and digital circuit design, including detailed assessment of microcontroller-based board designs Define and manage Hardware-Software Interface Specifications (HSIS). Plan, execute, and support environmental and qualification testing.



Lead or contribute to certification activities for airborne electronic hardware in compliance with DO-254 (complex electronic hardware) and DO-160G (environmental qualification) Collaborate with software and system teams to ensure compliance with: DO-178 (software) and ARP4754 (system development) Experience with electronic control unit design/testing/qualification in an aerospace environment Strong background in analogue and digital design, including the ability to asses a microcontroller board design Expertise in worst case analysis (WCCA), Derating analysis, FMEA, Thermal analysis, Power analysis, timing analysis, Lightning analysis/Simulation, Fault tree analysis (FTA), Root cause analysis (RCA), Hardware software interface specification (HSIS). Familiar with Board level EMI/EMC Design techniques and Environmental testing Profound knowledge of RTCA DO-254 and the certification process of complex airborne electronic hardware Environmental qualification (DO-160G), software development (RTCA DO-178), as well as system development (ARP4754) experience Fluent English
