About The Job Reporting to the Product Line Exec, the DevOps Infrastructure Engineer Expert is responsible for the design and delivery of features and solutions that cover multiple GIP products. The role involves requirements gathering and working together with product owners and technical design leads in the creation of a high-level solution design (HLD) that can be implemented by the GIP build teams into low level designs (LLD) and implementation via agile sprint delivery. A part of the role will also include the solution design related GIP configuration data and document the lifecycle of this data within the product department. This role involves ensuring the accuracy, consistency and integrity of configuration data across various products and platforms. Inside GIP, the person will work closely with the different product build teams to streamline the use of configuration data and correct processing during its lifecycle. The primary focus is to have high quality configuration data that can be trusted in all automation processes that GIP is responsible for. Examples of processes are server and database provisioning processes, in place upgrade processes (IPU), auto healing processes, … therefore the person will also initiate improvement initiatives together with the different GIP product owners.
