Position Summary This position is responsible for developing and maintaining an accounting system and procedures to ensure compliance with GASB. Performs professional duties in the creation and maintenance of accounting records,



the verification and documentation of financial transactions and the preparation of and management of departmental budgets.
Major Duties Supervises the Accounting Assistant and Senior Accounting Assistant.
Enters journal entries into the accounting software.
Performs professional accounting duties in the analysis and interpretation of accounting data and reports.
Maintains the accounting database including but not limited to general ledger accounts and users.
Monitors the accurate documentation of all financial transactions;
thereby ensuring the integrity of fiscal/financial reporting system.
