Spare Parts Catalogue Definition Engineer

At Itera Mobility Engineering, we are looking for a Spare Parts Catalogue Definition Engineer to join our automotive engineering team in Barcelona, Spain.

The key objective in this position is to ensure that every vehicle model has a clear, accurate, and service‑friendly spare parts catalogue that enables dealerships, workshops, and after‑sales teams to identify, order, and replace components efficiently.

Main functions to develop:

- Participate in defining the vehicle spare parts catalogue.
- Analyze project technical documentation (drawings, DTP, PDM, bill of materials) and validate data consistency.
- Propose improvements in component definition and traceability.
- Prepare validation reports, issue logs, and correction proposals.
- Coordinate with Development Engineering, Quality, and After‑Sales to ensure alignment between design, production, and spare parts.
- Support the updating of the group’s technical databases (ETKA, AVW, SAP).

Essential Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in the automotive sector, preferably in After‑Sales or Product Engineering departments.

Proven experience in:





- Processes for defining and validating spare parts catalogues.
- Interpretation of 2D/3D drawings and technical document management.
- Project follow‑up and coordination with R&D;, Quality, and After‑Sales departments.

Technical skills:

- Advanced proficiency with tools and systems (Catia, VISMOCKUP, SAP, AVW, CONNECT, TI‑Rex, ElsaPro, Etka, MS Office)
- Analytical ability to correlate parts, references, and product variants.
- Knowledge of PDM structures and vehicle configurations.
