About the Role
As a Business Development Representative, you will be the first point of contact for hundreds of businesses. Your mission will be to identify new sales opportunities, understand customer needs, and connect prospective customers with the right cloud solutions.
You will work in a dynamic, target-driven environment, primarily engaging prospects through outbound calls and emails. You'll build relationships with decision-makers, qualify opportunities, and create a strong foundation for the next stage of the sales process.
Key Responsibilities

Manage an assigned portfolio of accounts and identify high-potential prospects.
Conduct outbound calls and emails, including cold calling, to C-level and senior decision-makers.
Build rapport quickly and understand customer business challenges and requirements.
Connect business needs with appropriate cloud solutions through a consultative, solution-selling approach.
Identify and qualify new business opportunities and ensure successful handover to the appropriate sales team.
Maintain accurate customer and prospect information in Salesforce or other CRM systems.
Track leads, contacts, accounts, opportunities, activities and customer interactions.
Consistently work toward individual and team KPIs, including productivity, conversion, pipeline and opportunity creation.
Document customer conversations, requirements and deal information accurately for internal stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
C2 level Norwegian and C1 level English, both written and spoken.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Previous experience in B2B, IT, technology or outbound sales.
Proven experience with cold calling and prospecting.
Experience working against sales quotas and performance targets.
Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, ideally with exposure to cloud platform solutions.
Ability to understand business challenges and connect them with relevant technical solutions.
Experience using Salesforce or another enterprise CRM platform.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Confidence speaking with senior decision-makers and identifying key stakeholders.
Highly motivated, goal-oriented and persistent.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Nordic Market Expertise
For this position, a strong understanding of the Nordic market is highly valued. You should be comfortable working with Nordic businesses and understand the cultural and commercial factors that influence decision-making.
You'll ideally bring:
Knowledge of Nordic business culture, etiquette and communication styles.
An understanding of the cloud ecosystem across the Nordic countries.
Ability to identify companies with strong growth potential.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to build relationships with key Nordic stakeholders.
Experience managing complex stakeholder structures and multiple decision-makers.
