In this role you drive the financial performance for Allianz Germany’s IT-enabled customer scope, acting as the main finance partner to senior IT and regional finance leaders. You steward a €2B+ cost base with end-to-end financial oversight and governance, collaborating with central finance teams to ensure transparency and optimal decision-making. You lead a team of six, shaping planning, forecasting, and business cases while pushing for AI-driven improvements and simplification across processes. This is a high-impact position at the intersection of finance and IT, offering strategic influence and leadership across Germany.
Compensaciones / Ventajas
• Act as primary financial counterpart to Head of IT for Germany and Regional Head of Finance; prepare governance materials and provide actionable financial insights
• Own end-to-end financial performance for Allianz Germany scope, including planning, forecasting, actuals, closing, and variance analysis for u003e€2B budget
• Serve as senior finance interface to Allianz Germany, ensuring transparency on IT costs and charges
• Lead, develop, and coach a team of 6 FTEs to deliver high-quality results and growth
• Drive annual planning and forecasting cycles with consolidation,



challenge, and sign-off of targets
• Provide financial advisory on business cases, investments, and structural topics; act as a functional approver for finance processes in Germany
• Champion AI, automation, and simplification to improve efficiency of financial processes
Responsabilidades
• Degree and 13+ years in financial controlling, finance management, or senior finance roles, ideally in a complex, multi-entity or international environment
• Proven track record as sparring partner to senior IT or business leadership with ability to translate data into insights
• Strong planning, forecasting, and performance management for xqbhyrx large cost budgets
• Experience engaging with customers and senior stakeholders; team leadership experience
• Genuine interest in AI and automation tools (Claude, Power BI, Power Platform); good knowledge of SAP FI/CO or similar ERP; strong MS Excel skills
• Fluency in English and German
• Ability to navigate a demanding, fast-moving environment and adapt communication to audience
