In this role you will lead the accounting and reporting function for multiple entities, driving timely month-end closes and audits across several countries. You will manage a multicultural team, optimize the Purchase to Pay process, and ensure compliance with policies and local regulations. Your analysis will explain deviations from the Business Plan and support ERP and process improvement initiatives in collaboration with HQ and regional teams. This is a hands-on, impact-focused position at a fast-growing general platform with a strong emphasis on accuracy and cross-country harmonization.

• Supervise month-end closing and PtP across multiple countries
• Lead a team of 3–6 accountants
• Coordinate with local/regional HQ finance teams
• Harmonize PtP processes across Glovo group
• Review/approve monthly reconciliations (Pu0026L and BS)
• Ensure accounting policies align with legislation
• Map and implement PtP process improvements
• Participate in ERP implementations and finance projects related to PtP




• Prepare ad hoc analyses explaining Pu0026L deviations vs Business Plan
• Adapt to policy, tax changes, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with the FinOps team to align accounting with business goals
Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's degree in Economics/Accounting/Business Administration
• 8+ years in accounting for multinational companies
• People management experience
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Strong general ledger, month-end closing, accruals, provisions, AP, and legal contingencies experience
• GAAP/IFRS knowledge
• xqbhyrx Advanced Excel/Google Sheets
• Experience with SAP S4/HANA, Microsoft Dynamics and OneStream is a plus
• ERP migration and project management experience a plus
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to change
