Our client is a integral technology and IT consulting firm that specializes in digital transformation, engineering, and software development.

They are looking for a Design Engineer (3-5 years experience) to join the R&D; team working on electro-mechanical systems for industrial machinery.

You will contribute to the design and development of mechanical and electro-mechanical submodules from concept to production.

Responsibilities

- Design of mechanical and electro-mechanical machine submodules
- 3D CAD modelling and assemblies (Autodesk Inventor and/or Siemens NX)
- Creation of technical drawings with GD&T; and tolerancing
- Design for manufacturability, assembly and serviceability
- Concept Development and engineering analysis
- Collaboration with R&D;, production and suppliers
- Support for prototyping and testing activities

Profile





- Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering
- (or equivalent experience)
- 3 Years experience in machine design, R&D; or mechanical engineering
- Strong experience with 3D CAD (Inventor, NX or similar)
- Knowledge of GD&T;, mechanical design and manufacturing processes
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Experience in industrial machine design is a plus
- Structured, analytical and detail-oriented mindset
- Knowledge of English and Dutch is required
- Resident in Belgium or Netherlands
