The primary location is Madrid, Spain, you may be required to travel & work in Al Khafji, KSA at some stage.

Main Purpose Of The Role

The Contracts Specialist may operate within the Core Engineering Team or PMC project team environment. They may have engineer grade personnel under their responsibility and will be tasked with their control and management and the delegation of activities to such support personnel.



They may work under the supervision of a Lead Engineer in which case his responsibilities will be as delegated. The Contracts Specialist may be in charge of any or all of the following tasks. The position is to be based in Spain, Europe.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills)

- 14 years of experience within Contracts Specialism - project management activities, project contract administration, procurement, communication and contract writing skills
- 7 years within the field of contract activities for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical building and infrastructure projects. Excellent knowledge of various contracting types and strategies related to project executions. Good knowledge of claims causes, analysis and preventive actions
- Must have Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Business Administration or Equivalent closely related field.
- ARAMCO experience essential!
