Our client is one of Australia's best-known companies operating a large, complex enterprise environment, with a strong reputation for developing its people. They have an immediate need for a Technical Analyst — Integration, based in Melbourne's north-west, on a 6-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension.

The role

This is a dedicated integration analysis role focused on connecting multiple systems and onboarding new data flows. You will lead requirements elicitation with business and technical stakeholders, define end-to-end data flows, and translate them into the technical artefacts that make integrations work — source-to-target mappings, schemas and transformation logic — through to testing and defect resolution.

The work is in the elicitation, mapping, schema analysis and validation, not in writing the build.



It will suit someone who wants to own that analysis end to end — scoped to suit a capable analyst through to someone more senior who can lift the team around them.

What you'll need to succeed;
- Experience as a Technical Analyst or integration-focused BA
- Requirements elicitation across business and technical stakeholders
- Strong source-to-target mapping and transformation logic
- Hands-on exposure to system integrations and APIs (REST/SOAP)
- Ability to analyse JSON/XML schemas and interface structures
- Experience supporting integration testing (SIT/UAT) and defect analysis
- Producing functional specs, interface specs and mapping documents
- Comfortable working with developers, architects and vendors
- SQL or data querying capability (advantageous)
- Exposure to middleware or integration platforms (advantageous)
