We’re partnering with a fast-growing international FinTech that is redefining how businesses move money globally. As the company continues to invest heavily in engineering, they’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team and help shape the next phase of growth.
This isn’t a traditional management role focused purely on delivery. You’ll lead an established engineering team while remaining close to the technology, working alongside Product and Engineering leadership to influence architecture, improve engineering standards, and build highly scalable financial products used by customers across multiple international markets.
Engineering sits at the heart of the business, with teams owning products end-to-end and encouraged to challenge ideas, improve systems, and continuously raise the technical bar.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing engineering team, creating an environment where engineers can thrive.
Partner closely with Product to balance business priorities with long-term technical improvements.
Drive technical discussions around architecture, scalability, reliability and engineering best practices.
Help identify opportunities where emerging technologies, including AI, can improve engineering productivity and customer outcomes.
Own team planning, prioritisation, delivery and quarterly engineering objectives.
Champion automation, operational excellence and platform reliability across your team.
Support the design and delivery of highly available, scalable distributed systems.
Work closely with senior engineering leaders to influence technical strategy and engineering standards across the organisation.
Foster a collaborative engineering culture focused on ownership, accountability and continuous improvement.
