Transforming Global Markets for the AI Era

Global Markets is undergoing a profound transformation driven by technological innovation and evolving client expectations. At BBVA, we are rethinking how our Front Office operates, how strategic initiatives are delivered and how emerging capabilities—including Artificial Intelligence—can create better outcomes for our clients.

As a General Markets Transformation Analyst, you will be part of the team responsible for driving strategic transformation initiatives across Global Markets.

Your primary mission will be to help turn strategy into execution—working with business,



technology and data teams to deliver complex initiatives with tangible business impact.

Beyond individual projects, you will contribute to rethinking how transformation itself is delivered. As Artificial Intelligence and new technologies reshape the way organizations operate, we are rethinking the way strategic transformation is delivered, evolving our methodologies, governance and operating model to accelerate execution, improve collaboration and scale innovation across Global Markets.

Working at the intersection of business, technology and data, you will help identify opportunities, shape transformation roadmaps and bring innovative capabilities into day-to-day operations, collaborating closely with business experts, technology teams and AI specialists.

Success in this role comes from being able to bridge business needs, technological opportunities and effective execution.

What you'll do:

- Deliver strategic transformation initiatives from idea to execution, working alongside Front Office, Technology and Data teams.

- Help identify opportunities where Artificial Intelligence, data and automation can create measurable business value.

- Work with business stakeholders to redesign operating processes and define future capabilities.

- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to translate business needs into executable initiatives.

- Contribute to evolving the team's methodologies, governance and ways of working to make transformation faster, more scalable and more effective.

- Help shape the next generation of transformation capabilities, leveraging AI,



automation and modern delivery practices to accelerate strategic execution across Global Markets.

- Partner with Front Office stakeholders to understand their challenges, identify improvement opportunities and translate them into transformation initiatives.

- Gain exposure to senior stakeholders while taking ownership from day one.

Who we’re looking for:

We’re looking for exceptional early-career talent with the curiosity to explore new technologies and the ambition to transform the way a global business operates.

You’ll probably identify with many of these:

-

- Recently graduated or with 1–2 years of professional experience.

- Strong academic background in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline.

- Ideally, a combination of business and technology education (e.g. Engineering + Business, Economics + Data, Mathematics + Finance, etc.).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand both business challenges and technical solutions.

- Curious about how emerging technologies—particularly Artificial Intelligence—can transform business processes and operating models.

- Comfortable using modern AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, GitHub Copilot, Codex or similar) to explore ideas, solve problems and improve productivity.

- Comfortable learning new technologies quickly and experimenting with emerging AI capabilities.

- Some exposure to programming, data analytics or software development is a plus (Python, SQL, APIs, Git, etc.).

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary and international teams. xqbhyrx
