As a Senior Technical Level Designer, you will lead technical design across departments, shaping scalable frameworks for new experiences in Unity and ensuring high-quality asset implementation. You’ll mentor junior designers, collaborate with engineering and production to align releases with company goals, and steer localization efforts across markets. You will translate user feedback and metrics into design decisions that boost retention and engagement. This role offers impact at scale within a mission-driven, remote-friendly organization that values education, play, and cross-cultural collaboration.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Own technical design projects across departments to scale the catalog and support the Level Design team's needs
• Collaborate with Engineering to build frameworks balancing resilience, scalability and usability
• Develop and maintain technical design docs; communicate requirements across teams
• Ensure technical optimization and uphold quality standards for asset implementation
• Design layouts, levels, parameters, and features in Unity Editor following guidelines
• Mentor and support junior/mid-level designers in daily work and growth




• Collaborate with Production to plan game releases aligned with company goals
• Lead level design within the app localization project across markets, languages, and cultures
• Drive retention by analyzing qualitative user tests with kids and quantitative metrics, translating insights into design decisions
• Prototype simple game experiences using internal tools

Responsabilidades
• 4+ years as a Level Designer or Technical Game Designer in mobile or educational gaming
• Proven Unity experience in designing and shipping games or interactive experiences
• Proficiency with Unity Editor for level design, xqbhyrx configuration, and parameters
• Strong knowledge of technical optimization practices in Unity
• Experience writing and maintaining in-depth design documentation and specifications
• Solid understanding of interaction design, game mechanics, player motivation, and level design principles
• Strong collaboration and communication across production, UX, art, and engineering
• High attention to detail and quality in gameplay polish
