Job Description:
An opportunity for a Flight Physics PMTD Leader has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join the Technology & Capability team within the Integration and Strategy domain (TADGI), which is a German-Spanish engineering organization in Airbus Defence and Space – Air Power Engineering. The organization is responsible for the flight physics deliverables for all Air Power programmes and digitalization & technology.
As Flight Physics PMTD Leader, you will apply your knowledge and experience in process, methods and tool development (PMTD) to push Flight Physics capabilities to make the program a success. This would be done ensuring the next level of digitalization and advanced technologies and capabilities for the program. With this, you will contribute to increase efficiency, effectiveness and competitiveness of Flight Physics CoC established in the Flight Physics Technology and Digital strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the Flight Physics Process, Methods, Tools and Data (PMTD) portfolio for an specific program.
Special focus will need to be put on the CoC deliveries for the program are executed on time, cost and quality.
- Drive the Flight Physics PMT process convergence and execute it in the agreed terms to ensure PMTD gaps and needs are fully managed. Reflect on the ways of working and continuously improve as needed for the program success.
- Lead the PMTD Integrated Product Team (IPT) - Flight Physics to ensure Flight Physics activities and priorities are captured by TAXD.
- Drive the Digital transformation of Flight Physics by coordinating transverse initiatives that push Air Power competitiveness and especially for the program efficiency.
