In this role, you contribute to technology, software, product and solution development within ABB Robotics, acting as the first Ru0026amp;D contact for product-related issues. You’ll prototype and test sensor calibration methods for autonomous mobile robots, and implement robust software to support general teams. You’ll deploy calibration tools on an AI-ready ARM64 SoC powering thousands of robots, shaping reliable, scalable perception systems. You join a collaborative, learning-focused environment where your work directly impacts real-world robotics deployments.
Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Prototype and test novel sensor calibration algorithms and assess their impact on precision and robustness
• Perform root cause analysis with project teams and support field calibration issues
• Develop algorithm and software infrastructure code, including design, implementation, and debugging
• Produce and maintain high-quality C++,
Rust and Python code; participate in code reviews and design discussions
• Deploy calibration tools on the AI-ready ARM64 SoC
• Collaborate with a global team of software engineers in a learning-oriented environment
Responsabilidades
• 3+ years of industry experience in software engineering, robotics or computer vision
• Strong C++ and Python skills with focus on high-quality code and performance
• Rust experience is a plus; willingness xqbhyrx to learn is required
• Strong analytical skills with interest in statistics and gradient-based optimization
• Bonus: experience with SLAM, computer vision or robotics
• Ability to work autonomously and in a collaborative global team
• Proficiency in English
