Job Description

The team is responsible for the development & operations of Monitoring and DataAnalytics Tools for the Network Control Platform of Deutsche Telekom Germany (AAA Fixed Net Germany). We are looking for two DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on monitoring and observability. The candidate will take end-to-end responsibility for our monitoring platforms and help evolve them across both traditional infrastructure and cloud-native environments.

Qualifications
- Operate, maintain, and continuously improve monitoring and observability platforms.




- Administer and optimize tools such as Checkmk, Grafana, and Kibana.
- Design monitoring concepts for VMware environments and Kubernetes-based cloud platforms.
- Implement and improve observability based on metrics, logs, traces, and alerts.
- Work with OpenTelemetry concepts, including collectors, exporters, metrics, logs, and traces.
- Build and maintain dashboards, alerting rules, and operational KPIs.
- Automate monitoring-related tasks, configurations, and deployments using DevOps practices.
- Integrate monitoring and observability components into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate closely with platform, infrastructure, development, and operations teams.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, preferably in English.
- Rollout management throughout the entire application lifecycle based on ITIL/corporate processes (Incident/problem/change)
