About the opportunity
As part of our Global Plastics Technologies Team in Barcelona you play a key role in managing the full life cycle of plastic components, from development through to serial production.



This role will be offering you the opportunity to take technical ownership of injection-molded components in a highly regulated, international environment. You collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and integral suppliers to ensure robust, high-quality manufacturing solutions.

This is an onsite based role at QIAGEN Barcelona.

Your tasks include
- Qualifying and validating tools for the production of plastic components
- Preparing and coordinating initial sample inspection reports together with internal inspection teams or external service providers
- Managing technical changes and deviations within a regulated environment
- Performing technical evaluations and processing error and deviation reports
- Supporting the transfer of technologies from development into serial production
- Creating and updating 2D and 3D drawings of plastic components
