This is an excellent opportunity for a safety professional who enjoys working closely with field-based teams, building strong stakeholder relationships, and driving positive HSEQ outcomes. Working as part of our HSEQ team, you will provide practical advice, conduct audits and inspections, support investigations, and assist in maintaining our integrated management systems.

Based along the East Coast and close to one of our depot locations in Mount Kuring-Gai (NSW), Tuggerah (NSW), Campbellfield (VIC), or Yatala (QLD), this role will involve regular travel to operational sites.

Description

The Role

The HSEQ Advisor is responsible for supporting the implementation and ongoing improvement of Mirait's Health, Safety, Environment and Quality systems across the business.





Duties will include but not be limited to:

Conduct site, plant and vehicle inspections, audits and compliance activities

Provide HSEQ support and guidance across projects and operational sites throughout Australia

Investigate incidents, hazards and near misses, and monitor corrective actions

Support compliance with WHS, environmental and quality management systems

Deliver HSEQ inductions, training and awareness initiatives

Provide HSEQ reports and contribute to continuous improvement of HSEQ systems and processes

Skills And Experiences

You

To secure an interview for this great opportunity, it is desirable to meet the following:

Experience in a HSEQ Advisor, HSEQ Coordinator or similar role

Qualification in Workplace Health & Safety or a related discipline

Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and risk management principles
