SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The Senior Project Manager (Senior PM) is responsible for the successful, safe, and profitable execution of the company's largest, most complex, and highest-risk projects, and provides leadership and oversight across a portfolio of projects managed by Project Managers and Project Engineers. The Senior PM manages all aspects of assigned projects, including planning, scheduling, cost control, general supervision, and labor relations, while also mentoring, training, and evaluating Project Managers and Project Engineers. The Senior PM builds and maintains senior-level client and General Contractor relationships, drives repeat business and new client development, and contributes to company-wide strategy, staffing, and process improvement. The Senior PM position involves a very high degree of autonomy and is expected to exercise independent judgment on matters with significant financial and operational impact.

- Own and oversee project schedules across a portfolio of projects, including the most complex and highest-value work
- Lead pre-construction meetings and job walks for major projects and support PMs on theirs
- Establish and oversee project budgets and profitability across multiple concurrent projects
- Review and approve project billing schedules and monitor cash flow and collections
- Review, negotiate, and approve subcontracts and purchase orders above PM authority thresholds
- Lead negotiations with GCs, owners, and clients on contract terms, change orders, and claims
- Champion and enforce LEAN principles across the department
- Oversee commissioning strategy and support for major projects
- Provide oversight and final resolution on complex RFIs and change orders
- Develop and deliver training programs for PMs and Project Engineers
- Direct BIM coordination strategy across projects
