Role Summary

The Chief Fintech Officer (CFTO) is responsible for driving the organization's fintech strategy, digital financial innovation, embedded finance initiatives, and technology-enabled financial services growth. This executive role leads the development of next-generation financial products, strategic fintech partnerships, digital ecosystems, and emerging technology adoption to create competitive advantage and new revenue opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Fintech Strategy & Leadership

Develop and execute the organization's fintech vision and strategic roadmap.

Identify emerging fintech trends, technologies, and business opportunities.

Advise the CEO, Board, and executive leadership on fintech innovation and market disruption.

Drive the organization's digital financial services transformation agenda.

2. Digital Financial Products & Innovation

Lead the design and commercialization of innovative financial products and services.

Oversee digital payments, digital lending, digital wallets, embedded finance, and Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) initiatives.





Drive customer-centric innovation through technology-enabled financial solutions.

Accelerate product development through agile and innovation-driven methodologies.

3. Fintech Ecosystem & Partnerships

Build strategic partnerships with fintechs, banks, payment networks, technology providers, and startups.

Establish collaboration models with ecosystem participants and innovation hubs.

Lead partnership negotiations, commercial agreements, and joint ventures.

Develop fintech marketplace and ecosystem expansion strategies.

4. Emerging Technology & Digital Transformation

Champion adoption of technologies such as AI, blockchain, digital identity, cloud computing, and open APIs.

Evaluate and implement innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency and customer experience.

Lead modernization of financial technology platforms and digital infrastructure.
