The Position
The Senior Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and evolving reusable SAP BTP /Cloud platform capabilities that enable secure, scalable, and efficient application development across the enterprise.
The role requires transforming architectural decisions into production-ready capabilities, automation, engineering frameworks, and reusable services. Working closely with Platform Architecture and Platform Operations. The role ensures platform capabilities are engineered with reliability, scalability, security, and developer experience at the forefront.
The Platform Engineering Lead drives innovation through technical exploration, proof-of-concepts, engineering standards, automation, and platform modernization while enabling application teams to consume SAP BTP through standardized patterns.
This role provides technical leadership across platform engineering initiatives and is accountable for engineering quality, execution, and continuous improvement of the platform.
