Role Description The Business Analyst role at MSV is a full-time, on-site position based in Madrid. This role is responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements from stakeholders, documenting specifications, and translating them into clear functional requirements for technical teams.
The Business
Analyst will map and optimize business processes, identify gaps and improvement opportunities, and support the design of SaaS solutions tailored to FoodTech clients. Day-to-day activities include conducting workshops and interviews with stakeholders, preparing reports and presentations, collaborating closely with product managers and developers, and supporting testing and validation to ensure solutions meet business needs.
The role also involves monitoring solution performance, collecting feedback, and contributing to continuous enhancement of MSV’s platforms.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and experience in Business Analysis to interpret data, identify trends, and define business needs.
- Ability to capture and manage Business Requirements and translate them into clear, actionable specifications.
- Knowledge of Business Process modeling and optimization to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Effective Communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders, facilitating workshops, and preparing clear documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience working with SaaS products or technology projects, ideally in FoodTech or related industries.
- Familiarity with tools for requirements management and process mapping (e.g., Jira, Confluence, BPMN tools) is beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English; Spanish language skills are an advantage.
