We are looking for a Buyer Engineer based in Madrid.

Being part of a Procurement Project Team, the candidate will develop, learn and be responsible for: Ensure compliance with directives and corporate/project procedures Commercial management of the assigned purchases and purchase orders

Supplier and bidder evaluation and selection Launch of Requests for quotation and expediting timely receipt of bids Evaluation, clarification and negotiation of sound bids Issue of final Commercial Tabulation and recommendation

Preparing of award proposals Issue and follow-up of approved Purchase Orders, including changes and final close out Participate in kick-off meetings and solve commercial issues during PO execution Internal expediting and close coordination with other departments and project

Provision of related reports and status

Requirements: Relevant experience (+2 years) in purchasing and expediting for significant international projects (experience in the refinery, petrochemical, gas and/or energy sectors will be a plus).

Engineering

Degree. Familiar with industrial plant equipment and materials.





Experience in supplier development and relationship management will be a plus. International experience and knowledge of working with suppliers and clients will be a plus. Experienced and effective negotiator.

Excellent analytical skills, numerically astute with strong demonstrated problem solving abilities. Proven communicator. Proactive and effective team member. Adaptable and able to prioritize multiple tasks

Excellent level of English, both spoken and written. Computer literate, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills/abilities

Ofrecemos: Desarrollo de carrera dentro de un equipo multidisciplinar de proyecto, en un entorno internacional.

Salario competitivo en función de experiencia aportada, más seguro médico y plan de retribución flexible.

Contrato indefinido. Participación en proyectos de primer nivel y complejidad técnica, de carácter internacional y dentro de un ambiente multicultural. Jornada intensiva (35 horas semanales) desde el 15 de junio al 15 de septiembre.

Del 1 de febrero al 14 de junio y del 16 de septiembre al 30 de noviembre se realizarían 42 horas semanales…y el resto, 40 horas en flexibilidad horaria de entrada (entre las 7 y las 10) y salida (a partir de las 16:45 pm), viernes intensivo y 2 días de teletrabajo a la semana.
