CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER (CTO) | Remote / Barcelona | B2B Game Provider

1. ABOUT THE COMPANY

We are an international iGaming holding developing several B2B Game Providers for regulated and international markets. Our products include proprietary slot games, an in-house RGS platform, and integrations with gaming operators worldwide. One of our providers is already live and continues to scale, while we are now building the next B2B product and looking for a CTO to lead its technology strategy.

Today the company has around 85 employees, including approximately 24 specialists within Engineering.

1. ABOUT THE ROLE

As CTO, you will work directly with the CEO and become one of the key technology leaders responsible for building and scaling a new B2B Game Provider. You will have full ownership of the engineering organization, technical strategy, architecture, and delivery processes. This is a highly autonomous C-level role where your decisions will directly impact product scalability, engineering efficiency, and business growth.

1. PROBATION GOALS

- Complete a full audit of the engineering organization, architecture, and delivery processes and present an improvement roadmap within the first 3 months

- Increase delivery predictability by introducing transparent planning, milestones, and engineering metrics within 3 months

- Improve the game production process and establish a scalable engineering framework to support higher release velocity within 6 months

- Increase development efficiency without significant team growth while maintaining product quality during the first 6 months

- Build a technology scaling roadmap covering platform architecture, RGS, automation, and engineering organization by the end of the probation period





1. RESPONSIBILITIES ━━━ WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Define and execute the company's technology strategy together with the CEO

- Build and scale the Engineering organization, including hiring, mentoring, and developing technical leaders

- Improve delivery processes, release predictability, and engineering productivity using Jira and engineering metrics

- Lead architecture decisions for the proprietary RGS platform and game production framework

- Drive engineering quality through test automation, release processes, monitoring, and observability

- Manage operator integrations, technical vendors, and outsourced development teams

- Introduce scalable engineering standards, reusable frameworks, and AI-assisted development practices

- Collaborate closely with Product, Operations, Commercial, Legal, and Finance teams to support business growth

1. REQUIREMENTS ━━━ WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

MUST HAVE

- Previous experience as CTO, VP Engineering, Head of Engineering, or Head of Technology within a B2B Slot Game Provider

- Strong hands-on technical background with architecture and high-load distributed systems

- Experience managing engineering organizations of 20+ specialists

- Proven experience building scalable engineering processes and improving delivery performance

- Experience with proprietary game platforms, RGS,



operator integrations, and slot game production

- Upper-Intermediate or higher English for daily communication with international teams

NICE TO HAVE:

- Experience with GLI, BMM, or other certification laboratories

- Experience implementing AI tools within software engineering

- Knowledge of ISO 27001 and security governance

- Experience with crypto settlements or regulated gaming markets
