ROLE OVERVIEW
As Customer Program Manager for LEAP-1A PBH (Power-by-the-Hour) contracts, you will own the end-to-end customer programme, ensuring contract delivery, engine availability, financial performance and customer satisfaction. You will lead the multidisciplinary programme team and coordinate IAG Engine Tech, airline, OEM and supplier stakeholders to deliver reliable and profitable outcomes.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer & Contract Leadership
Act as the primary customer interface. Lead programme governance, performance reviews and executive communications, ensuring contractual commitments, service levels and customer expectations are actively managed.
Programme Team Leadership
Lead the customer programme team, including the Fleet Technical Manager, Field Representative and PMO support. Align engineering, planning, shop, supply chain, finance and commercial teams around clear priorities and decisions.
P&L;, Billing & Cost Control
Own the PBH programme P&L.; Track flight hours and cycles, billing accuracy, maintenance cost and forecasts, and drive actions that protect cash, improve EBIT and maintain long-term contract sustainability.
Maintenance Planning & Engine Availability
Oversee removal planning, shop visit scheduling, workscope coordination, spare-engine coverage and turnaround performance to maximise fleet availability and reduce operational disruption.
OEM, Supply Chain & Risk Management
Coordinate with CFM International, suppliers and the repair network to secure parts,
modules and technical support. Identify and mitigate technical, operational, contractual and delivery risks.
Performance Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Use reliability, cost and operational data to monitor programme KPIs, provide clear reporting to customers and leadership, and lead initiatives that improve time-on-wing, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in engine programme management, preferably involving LEAP or CFM56 fleets.
PBH & Engine Programme Expertise
Strong understanding of PBH contractual frameworks, airline maintenance operations, shop visit management and engine availability drivers.
Commercial & Financial Acumen
Proven capability in P&L; management, budgeting, forecasting, billing control and maintenance cost optimisation.
Leadership & Project Management
Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage competing priorities and convert complex issues into clear decisions and executable plans.
Communication & Negotiation
Fluent in English and Spanish, with strong customer-facing, negotiation and executive communication skills in a multicultural environment.
Mobility & Adaptability
Willingness to travel and flexibility to support critical maintenance events, operational disruptions and AOG situations.
