EDA Applications Engineer We combine product and technology leadership, systems-level expertise and integral manufacturing scale to quickly solve our customers' most complex technical challenges. Qorvo serves multiple high-growth segments of large global markets, including consumer electronics, smart home/IoT, automotive, EVs, battery-powered appliances, network infrastructure, healthcare and aerospace/defense. Qorvo is seeking an EDA Applications Engineer to support electromagnetic (EM) simulation activities across RFIC, package, and module development teams.

The engineer will work closely with design, modeling, and product teams to help ensure efficient and accurate use of EM simulation tools throughout the product development process. Work with EDA vendors and internal teams to resolve software-related issues and improve tool usability. Assist with maintaining simulation environments, software releases, and computing resources.

Participate in training activities to help users become proficient with EM simulation tools and follow best practices Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline. ~Experience with Ansys HFSS, CST Microwave Studio, or similar EM simulation tools through coursework, internships, or industry experience. ~ Exposure to RFIC, MMIC, package, antenna,



or RF module development through coursework, internships, or industry experience. ~ Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline Familiarity with Linux environments and high-performance computing systems.

Basic

Python scripting experience and familiarity with Linux or high-performance computing environments.

Experience supporting or troubleshooting engineering software applications. This position is only open to candidates having a qualified legal status to work in Spain.
