Company Description Muara Madrid is a contemporary Indonesian restaurant dedicated to showcasing the rich and diverse flavors of Indonesia in the heart of Madrid. The restaurant blends traditional Indonesian culinary techniques with modern presentation and high-quality ingredients.

Role Description The Food Server is a full-time, on-site role based at Muara in Madrid. This role is responsible for greeting guests, presenting menus, explaining dishes and specials, and taking accurate food and beverage orders.

The Food

Server ensures timely delivery of orders, checks in with guests to support a positive dining experience, and coordinates with kitchen and bar staff to maintain smooth service. Daily tasks include setting up and clearing tables, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, processing payments,



and adhering to health and safety standards.

Server also represents Muara’s brand values by providing warm, attentive service and sharing knowledge of Indonesian cuisine.

Qualifications

- Asian ethnicity / background (not required but highly valued)
- Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Service and Communication.
- Practical experience with Food & Beverage and Food Service operations.
- Decent understanding of Cooking and interest in Indonesian cuisine.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and a collaborative approach to working with team members.
- Professional fluency in Spanish and English. Indonesian language skills are an advantage.
- Previous experience as a server or in hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in South-East Asian restaurants is highly valued
