SocialPulse is building an AI-powered digital emotional intelligence platform focused on understanding sentiment, emotions and narratives behind online conversations.

Data & ML are at the core of the product.

We are looking for a Founding Data & ML Lead to take full technical ownership of this area and help build the intelligence layer of SocialPulse.

What you will own

- ML model development and evolution: evaluate, train, fine-tune and improve sentiment, emotion and future NLP models
- NLP intelligence layer: design and evolve the models and processing layers that transform unstructured data into actionable insights.
- Data pipelines and quality: design reliable flows from data acquisition and preprocessing to inference, evaluation and storage
- Model evaluation: establish datasets, benchmarks, metrics, error analysis and reproducible validation processes
- MLOps and deployment: define model versioning, serving, monitoring, experimentation and production deployment
- Data & ML architecture: design a scalable architecture that integrates models, pipelines, APIs, storage and the product layer
- Technical roadmap and sprints: translate product priorities into Data/ML requirements and define sprints with the CEO, co-founders and Tech Lead
- Team leadership: mentor the current Data/ML team, review work, unblock technical issues and establish development standards
- Technology and infrastructure decisions: select models, frameworks, cloud services and tooling based on performance,



scalability and cost
- Area ownership: identify missing capabilities, propose technical changes and autonomously grow the Data & ML team when needed

This is a hands-on leadership role . We need someone able to make architectural decisions, review and improve models, and turn product requirements into executable technical work.

Profile:

We are looking for a strong Mid-level or Senior ML Engineer / Data Scientist / ML Lead , ideally with experience in:

Python · NLP · Transformers · model evaluation · data pipelines · APIs · cloud · MLOps

Early-stage product experience and experience mentoring technical teams are strong advantages.

The role starts as a collaboration without initial cash compensation , with direct access to the CEO and significant autonomy over a core area of the company.

We are specifically looking for someone with the potential to evolve into:

Founding Data & ML Lead → Head of Data → potential Co-Founder / CTO For the right person, a future equity package of up to 2.0% may be considered based on contribution, commitment, impact and long-term involvement.

The Co-Founder role is not automatic : it is intended for someone who demonstrates the ability and commitment to become a true owner of this area.

We are not looking for an advisor or someone to execute tickets. We are looking for someone who wants to build and own the Data & ML core of SocialPulse.
