We're working with a growing digital business looking to hire an experienced Frontend Developer to join their team on an initial 3–6 month contract. You'll be helping to build high-performing customer-facing websites and internal applications, working closely with Product, Design, Marketing, QA and Operations teams to deliver scalable, modern web experiences using React and TypeScript.
This is a fully remote role, however candidates must be based in Spain and be fluent in Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Develop modern frontend applications using React, TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Build responsive customer-facing websites and internal platforms.
- Write clean, reusable and maintainable code.
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Marketing,
QA and Operations teams.
- Participate in code reviews and help improve engineering standards.
- Apply frontend performance and SEO best practices.
- Contribute to frontend architecture and continuous improvements.
Requirements
- 5+ years' commercial Frontend Development experience.
- Strong React and TypeScript experience.
- Excellent JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5 and CSS3 skills.
- Experience building responsive web applications.
- Good understanding of SEO and frontend performance.
- Experience with SASS.
- Knowledge of CSS methodologies such as BEM, OOCSS or SMACSS.
- Experience using Git and package managers (NPM/Yarn).
- Strong communication skills.
- Fluent Spanish (spoken and written).
- Must be based in Spain.
