EIT Urban Mobility is an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union and Europe's largest network for transport innovation in cities. We connect public and private actors and provide them with access to markets, talent, finance and knowledge. Using cities as living labs, our industry, research and university partners will demonstrate how new technologies can work to solve real problems in real cities by transporting people, goods and waste in smarter ways.

The Grant Financial

Officer is part of the Finance Team and will report directly to the Head of Finance. Contribute to EIT Urban Mobility's audit processes (EIT Certificate on the Financial Statements, internal checks, statutory audits). Ensure the correct allocation of costs for each transaction in coordination with the Accounting and Controlling functions.

Participate in the preparation of the budget implementation, financing decisions, and the annual Business Plan, as well as in the planning, preparation, monitoring, and reporting of the budget. Provide support for budget management in compliance with applicable financial regulations. Support the processing and follow-up of grant and sub-grant payments, acting as back-up within the Finance Team when required.

Support audit and internal review processes through the preparation of documentation, reconciliations, and follow-up actions. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in an audit firm,



including at least 3 years of experience auditing EU-funded projects.

Experience working with organisations with complex governance structures, multiple legal entities, diverse stakeholders, and European networks.

Experience in the financial management and monitoring of EU-funded projects. Professional proficiency in written and spoken English (minimum C1 level). Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.
