To support this exciting phase, we are looking for an experienced Head of Financial Control & Compliance who will become the CFO's key partner and lead the Group's financial control, accounting, compliance and finance operations.
We are not simply looking for an outstanding finance professional. We are looking for someone who is passionate about building a best-in-class finance organisation capable of supporting the company's long-term international growth.
The Opportunity
This role combines strategic responsibility with a strong hands-on approach.
You will have real autonomy to lead the Group's finance operations, develop a growing team and drive the continuous improvement of financial processes, systems and internal controls.
Working closely with the CFO, you will play a key role in project financing, investor relations, external audits, international expansion and the ongoing transformation of the finance function.

What You Will Do/Key Responsabilities
Finance Leadership
- Lead the Group's Financial Control, Accounting, Treasury, Administration and Compliance functions.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity and timely delivery of financial information across the Group.
- Design and implement scalable financial policies, procedures and internal controls.
- Act as the CFO's primary business partner in the day-to-day management of the finance function.
Financial Reporting & Consolidation
- Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes.
- Prepare standalone and consolidated financial statements.
- Oversee multi-entity consolidation, intercompany transactions and transfer pricing.
- Ensure compliance with Spanish GAAP and IFRS, while supporting Group reporting under US GAAP.
Financial Planning & Project Controlling
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Oversee the financial control of industrial and R&D; projects.
- Manage CAPEX, OPEX, Work in Progress (WIP), Percentage of Completion (POC) accounting and project profitability.
- Provide financial support for government grants and R&D; tax incentive programmes.
Treasury & Corporate Finance
- Oversee treasury planning and working capital management.
- Support the CFO in managing banking relationships and financing activities.
- Supervise guarantees, bonds and financial risk management.
- Support debt financing processes and relationships with financial institutions.
Financial Governance, Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, corporate and regulatory requirements across all Group entities.
- Oversee the preparation of statutory financial statements.
- Coordinate relationships with external auditors, tax advisors and regulatory authorities.
- Continuously strengthen the Group's internal control framework, financial governance and risk management.
Finance Transformation One of the key priorities of this role will be to continue building a modern, scalable finance organisation.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading the ongoing development of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and its deployment across new Group entities.
- Standardising financial processes across all subsidiaries.
- Driving finance process automation and digitalisation.
- Enhancing data quality, reporting capabilities and business intelligence.
Leadership
- Lead, mentor and develop the finance team.
- Define organisational structure, responsibilities and career development plans.
- Recruit and develop future finance talent.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Profile
Education
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration.
- A postgraduate qualification in Finance, Controlling or Business Management will be considered an advantage.
Experience
- More than 10 years of finance experience in senior finance roles.
- Proven experience leading Financial Control, Accounting or Finance functions.
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, engineering, renewable energy or EPC project environments.
- Experience working within international multi-entity organisations.
- Previous Big Four audit experience is highly desirable.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Spanish GAAP and IFRS.
- Experience with financial consolidation, multi-entity structures, intercompany transactions and multi-currency environments.
- Exposure to US GAAP is highly desirable.
- Strong background in project controlling within industrial environments.
- Treasury, corporate finance and banking relationship management.
- Audit, tax and corporate compliance.
Hands-on experience leading Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations, roll-outs or finance transformation projects will be considered a significant advantage.
Languages
- Fluent Spanish.
- Professional English (minimum C1).
