We are an international pharmaceutical company headquartered in Spain with a presence in the United Kingdom, Italy, Portugal, and France, and we are currently seeking an IT Business Manager.

The IT Business Manager aligns technology with business objectives and leads enterprise transformation initiatives end-to-end. This role blends strategic planning with operational execution, ensuring core IT services stay reliable while Procare modernises enterprise systems, data flows, and digital platforms. The role operates in a hybrid model and works closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

Business partnership and strategy

- Act as the primary IT partner for business leaders across functions.
- Translate business priorities into a clear, sequenced technology roadmap.
- Build business cases, define value metrics, and support investment decisions.
- Establish intake, prioritisation, and governance for the IT and transformation portfolio.

Enterprise transformation and programme leadership

- Lead enterprise change initiatives from discovery through delivery and adoption.
- Provide governance for large programmes, including planning, milestones, risks, and dependency management.
- Drive process digitalisation and operational efficiency improvements.

Enterprise systems (SAP-first when required)

- Own the roadmap and delivery for enterprise applications, with strong emphasis on SAP implementation.
- Lead SAP partner selection and governance, requirements, testing, cutover readiness, and adoption planning.
- Define integration principles between SAP, CRM, e-commerce, web platforms, and marketing tools.

Data, integrations, and platforms

- Ensure reliable data flows across core systems,



with clear ownership and quality standards.
- Oversee digital platforms such as corporate websites, webshops, CMS environments, and connected tooling.
- Manage integration delivery with vendors and internal stakeholders.

IT operations, service management, and vendors

- Ensure daily reliability of IT infrastructure, devices, networks, identity and access, and managed services.
- Manage vendor performance, service quality, and escalation paths.
- Control budgets, licences, renewals, and supplier relationships.

Security, risk, and business continuity

- Implement security policies, access standards, and data protection practices.
- Own backup strategy, incident response readiness, and continuity planning.
- Maintain a pragmatic risk register and remediation plan aligned with business needs.

Skills and experience

- Demonstrated ability to align technology with business strategy and lead cross-functional delivery.
- Experience with enterprise software and transformation, with SAP implementation experience valued.
- Strong programme and vendor management skills, including budget control.
- Solid foundation in infrastructure, cybersecurity, and risk management.
- Clear communication, stakeholder leadership, and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
