Position: MSSQL DBA Engineer

Location: Madrid/Málaga , Spain (80% Remote, 20% Onsite)

Role Summary

Looking for an experienced SQL Server Infrastructure Architect with strong expertise in SQL Server design, migration, high availability, automation, and infrastructure delivery. The role involves customer-facing architecture discussions, technical documentation, platform transformation, and Agile collaboration.

Must-Have Skills

- Infrastructure / Technical Delivery experience
- Microsoft SQL Server Infrastructure (2019, 2022, 2025)
- SQL Server implementation and architecture design
- Windows Server administration
- High Availability solutions (Always On, Failover Clustering)
- SQL Server Backup & Recovery
- PowerShell scripting
- HLD & LLD documentation




- Customer-facing communication and meeting management
- Complex L3 troubleshooting and migrations
- Experience in regulated/security-focused environments
- Fluent English

Nice to Have

- SQL Server on Linux
- Oracle to SQL Server migrations
- TDE (Transparent Data Encryption)
- SSMS
