Professional challenge and role mission
IAG Engine Tech is developing a new management model to translate its strategic priorities into coordinated initiatives, objectives, indicators and action plans. In this context, it is essential to maintain a single, up-to-date view of the Plan de Vuelo - the company's strategic and transformation plan - and its associated initiative portfolio.
Reporting to the Transformation Manager, the mission of the Portfolio & Transformation Specialist will be to coordinate and maintain the Plan de Vuelo, prepare its review cycles and committees, and provide reliable information for decision-making. The role will also support initiative analysis, KPI and benefit tracking, and coordination of the transformation portfolio.
The role combines management discipline, analytical capability and executive communication. It is not limited to collecting data or preparing presentations: the successful candidate will be expected to understand the substance of the initiatives, identify inconsistencies, ask relevant questions and propose recommendations or follow-up actions, always working with business owners and under the guidance of the Transformation Manager.
Key responsibilities
- Plan de Vuelo coordination and maintenance: consolidate information on priorities and initiatives, coordinate periodic update cycles and ensure consistency across objectives, indicators, milestones, risks and decisions.
- Committee preparation and executive reporting: prepare tracking dashboards, presentations and executive summaries, coordinating inputs from the business areas and highlighting progress, deviations, risks and required decisions.
- Initiative analysis and review: review information provided by owners, identify inconsistencies or gaps in definition, ask relevant questions and propose recommendations or follow-up actions.
- KPI and benefit tracking: work with Finance and the relevant business areas to provide visibility of results, deviations, assumptions and expected or achieved benefits.
- Support for strategic review: participate in updating priorities, pillars, programmes and objectives, preparing analyses and materials to support discussion and decision-making.
- Transformation portfolio coordination: maintain a cross-functional view of initiatives, dependencies, overlaps and decision needs, and support prioritisation processes.
- Support for priority projects: contribute to analysis, team coordination, action tracking and decision preparation for selected initiatives, without replacing the accountability of the business owner.
- Improvement of management tools and routines: help simplify and improve the processes, templates, data sources and tools used to track the Plan de Vuelo and the portfolio.
