Help bring innovative aquatic experiences to life.
At Vortex , we believe play has the power to change the world. As the global leader in aquatic play, we design award-winning splash pads and water attractions enjoyed by millions of children and families in communities, resorts, and waterparks around the world.
We're looking for a curious, hands-on Product Engineer to join our growing team in Valencia. If you enjoy solving technical challenges, working directly with customers, and seeing your work come to life in the field, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Your Opportunity
This is much more than a technical support role.
You'll become the technical expert for Vortex products in Spain, working closely with our engineering and manufacturing teams in Canada while supporting exciting projects across the country.
During your first year, you'll receive extensive training and mentoring before progressively taking ownership of technical support, commissioning, and product expertise. No splash pad experience? No problem—we'll provide all the training you need to succeed.
What You'll Do
- Provide technical support to project managers, installers, municipalities, and hospitality clients.
- Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and control system issues remotely and on-site.
- Support the commissioning and start-up of new splash pad installations across Spain.
- Configure controllers, automation systems, and water treatment equipment.
- Travel to project sites for commissioning and complex technical interventions.
- Develop technical documentation, commissioning procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Build and continuously improve Vortex's technical knowledge base.
- Collaborate closely with our engineering and manufacturing teams in Canada to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
What You'll Bring
- A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Industrial, Automation, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
- The ability to interpret technical documentation and translate it into practical solutions.
- A good working level of English.
- Willingness to travel throughout Spain during the installation season.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice to Have
- Experience with industrial automation, PLCs, or commissioning.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems or water treatment.
- French, German, or Catalan language skills.
What We Offer
- A unique opportunity to become the technical reference for an innovative integral product.
- Comprehensive onboarding and one-on-one mentoring with an experienced technical specialist.
- Two weeks of hands-on product training at our manufacturing headquarters in Canada.
- The opportunity to work on exciting projects across Spain with international collaboration.
- A dynamic, supportive, and entrepreneurial team where your ideas are valued.
- Continuous learning and professional development in a growing international company.
- A role where you'll see the direct impact of your work—from factory to finished installation.
Ready to Make an Impact? At Vortex, we don't just build water attractions—we create places where people connect, communities thrive, and unforgettable memories are made.
If you're passionate about engineering, enjoy solving real-world challenges, and want to build your career with a company that's shaping the future of aquatic play, we'd love to hear from you.
