At HAYS Technology, we are partnering with a leading international technology organization to identify a Software Asset Management Specialist (SAP) who will join a global team responsible for optimizing software investments, managing compliance, and driving strategic licensing initiatives across a complex international environment.

What will you do?

- Lead Software Asset Management activities related to SAP solutions and licensing.
- Monitor software usage and identify optimization opportunities across the organization.
- Analyze licensing data, compliance risks, and software consumption trends.
- Support strategic contract negotiations and renewals with SAP and other software vendors.
- Collaborate with procurement, finance, legal, sourcing, and IT stakeholders.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives while ensuring contractual and licensing compliance.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of SAM processes, governance, and best practices.
- Support the management of a large-scale international software portfolio.

What are we looking for?

- 5+ years of experience in Software Asset Management, IT Asset Management, or SAP Licensing.
- Strong understanding of SAP licensing models, user classifications, indirect access, and compliance topics.




- Experience with SAP measurement and licensing tools (LAW, USMM, USSM, SAP4Me, or similar).
- Exposure to SAP RISE licensing models and optimization initiatives.
- Experience participating in software contract negotiations and vendor management activities.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to transform data into actionable insights.
- Advanced Excel skills; Power Query is considered a plus.
- Fluent English.

Nice to Have

- Experience managing software portfolios from additional vendors.
- Knowledge of IT financial management, budgeting, accruals, and cost allocation models.
- Previous experience within multinational environments with global stakeholder exposure.
