As Senior Product Engineer / AI Solution Architect at Santander AI, you will shape AI-powered integration and migration capabilities across the group. You translate roadmaps into scalable technical options and reusable components, working with cross‑functional teams and vendors. You’ll apply advanced AI patterns and ensure governance, security, and cloud alignment. This role combines hands-on engineering with a product mindset to drive modernization in a regulated financial environment. You will contribute to high-impact projects that advance Santander’s AI-enabled transformation.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Evolve AI-powered integration and migration products (e.g., Alchemy) and translate roadmap needs into technical designs, epics, and increments
• Design reusable components, APIs, connectors, agentic workflows, and automation assets for scaling use cases
• Apply LLMs, agentic AI, RAG/GraphRAG, code-analysis, and workflow automation to enterprise scenarios
• Define technical guardrails and ensure alignment with technology standards, AI governance, cybersecurity, and cloud guidelines
• Evaluate vendor solutions and market tools; contribute to buy-vs-build assessments and integration into Santander environments
• Develop reference architectures, docs, playbooks, and reusable patterns; support PoCs and early adoption feedback into the roadmap
• Collaborate with Product Adoption u0026 Value, Architecture, Cloud, vendors and country tech teams to translate needs into backlog inputs and technical recommendations

Responsabilidades
• 6+ years in software engineering,



solution architecture, cloud engineering, AI engineering or technical product development
• Hands-on experience building or evolving digital products, platforms, automation tools or integration capabilities
• Practical experience with AI-enabled systems, LLMs, code analysis, workflow automation, RAG, agents or AI-assisted software engineering
• Experience with APIs, enterprise integrations, cloud services, DevOps, and secure software delivery
• Experience collaborating with product owners, vendors, architects and delivery teams in complex organizations
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, Mathematics, Physics or related field
• English professional proficiency; Spanish working proficiency preferred
• Python or equivalent language, APIs, Git, testing, documentation
• AI/LLM engineering knowledge: LLMs, agents, RAG/GraphRAG, prompt/workflow design
• Integration technologies: REST APIs, connectors, event-driven patterns, secure integration
• DevOps fundamentals: CI/CD, containers, observability, IaC
• Cloud familiarity, especially AWS; Azure valuable
• Knowledge of agentic frameworks (MCP, Semantic Kernel, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI) preferred
• Security, privacy and regulatory awareness in AI-enabled enterprise solutions
