Experteer Overview As an AVP Operations Specialist in Reconciliation, you drive the day-to-day execution and enhancement of core reconciliation controls across cash, position, and transaction breaks. You collaborate with Front Office, Operations, and Technology to strengthen resilience, optimize workflows, and implement AI-enabled improvements. You’ll lead governance, risk management, and KPI/KRI monitoring while delivering data-driven insights to senior management. This role offers impact through automation, cross-functional partnerships, and scalable processes within a global firm.Compensaciones / Beneficios
- Oversee daily reconciliation delivery and break resolution across cash, position, and transactions
- Review workflows and KPIs; investigate breaches and align with the Reconciliation Target Operating Model
- Act as escalation point for complex issues using product, system, and trade lifecycle knowledge
- Collaborate with Front Office, Compliance, Legal, Tech, custodians, and counterparties to resolve breaks
- Maintain audit-ready governance and control documentation; monitor risk indicators
- Identify cross-team synergies to improve capacity, resilience, and back-up processes
- Champion AI, automation, and data analytics to reduce manual effort and strengthen controls




- Translate reconciliation pain points into automation or AI use cases with Tech
- Prepare and present performance reports with data-driven insights to leadership
- Foster knowledge sharing, engagement, and performance development in line with valuesResponsabilidades
- 5+ years in financial services, with reconciliations experience across cash, position, and transactions
- Extensive knowledge of security and trade lifecycles and their impact on reconciliation
- Strong understanding of operational risk, controls, and regulatory expectations with governance experience
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across multiple functions
- Experience with platforms like Aladdin and market data tools such as Bloomberg is advantageous; advanced Excel/PowerPoint
- Lean, Six Sigma or continuous improvement experience is a plus
- Familiarity with AI, automation, data analytics and Smart Middle Office concepts
- Ability to use data-driven insights to improve performance and scalability
- Willingness to support general shifts and operate in a global team
