Experteer Overview
In this role you will drive perception-focused software for autonomous mobile robots within ABB Robotics. You’ll contribute to Ru0026amp;D, develop robust 3D perception and computer-vision solutions, and help shape IP for real-world deployments. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams across Europe and Switzerland and work in a hybrid model to deliver production-grade perception technology. This position offers hands-on experimentation, measurable impact on robot reliability, and opportunities to influence technical direction.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Lead design and production-grade implementation of 3D perception and CV algorithms for autonomous robots
• Validate algorithms in real-world, dynamic environments with a focus on robustness and maintainability
• Design tools and run experiments on real robots to assess performance and failure modes
• Contribute to technical direction and IP generation through hypothesis testing and validated solutions
• Mentor and guide junior engineers,

Responsabilidades
• 5+ years of experience in 3D perception or computer vision in product/industrial settings
• Industrial software engineering experience in modern C++, solid Python skills; Rust a plus
• Experience with stereo/RGB-D cameras and/or 2D/3D LiDARs
• Proficiency with ROS, Linux, Git; strong validation/experimental mindset
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks, MLOps, robotic navigation planning; Jetson and embedded Linux a plus
• Ability to work independently, own perception components, and collaborate across teams
• English proficiency; degree in Robotics, CS, EE, ME, or related field
