Company from the Oil & Gas industry is looking for a Technical Safety Lead (Loss Prevention) for Saudi Arabia .The Loss Prevention Lead, expert in HAC, PFP and F&G, execute and/or coordinate the relevant activities as part of the technical safety team, for different project phases, from Feasibility Studies to Front-End and Detail Engineering design.Responsibilities- Perform and manage activities relevant to Hazardous Area Classification (HAC), Passive Fire Protection including cold spill/splash (PFP&SCP) (prescriptive and risk based approach), Fire and Gas Detection (including F&G Mapping Studies), Escape Routes, and safety equipment etc. for different plant typologies, considering International and National standards, with specific focus on numerical solutions and relevant reports and layouts preparation.- Interface with Clients on technical issues.- Organize and conduct the meetings with other JV Contractors and Client- Evaluate suppliers and sub-contractor bids involved in the risk assessment studies like F&G Mapping Studies (geographic and performance based approaches)



and Fire Risk Studies- Manage engineering Sub-Contractors and Suppliers.- Independent and confident writing of reports.- Manage own tasks and activities within the agreed schedule and budget.- Contribution with specific expertise to highly skilled multi-disciplinary team.- Contribute to the development and to the continuous technical improvement of internal work methodologies and procedures.Requirements- Minimum of 7 years’ proven experience within the Oil & Gas Industry, ideally both for onshore and offshore fields.- Advanced knowledge of English language. Ideally, candidates will be able to demonstrate excellent report writing.- Advanced skills in the most common MS Office applications, Office365 suite and Autocad.- Self-motivated thinker able to work both independently and as a part of a larger Team.- Confident in presenting in front of Clients (existing or new).- Availability to business trips/missions.Additional profile skills and competences:- Good communication, problem-solving and decision making- Strong attitude to collaborate with colleagues also by means of IT / digital tools- Ability to manage teams during workshops and review meetings#J-18808-Ljbffr
