Role Description The SVP of Clinical Development is a full-time, remote role responsible for setting and leading the clinical strategy across Altura Health Partners’ portfolio of healthcare businesses. This role oversees the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of clinical programs, care pathways, and quality initiatives to ensure high standards of care and regulatory compliance. The SVP collaborates with clinical leaders and small business owners to introduce appropriate technologies, optimize workflows, and align clinical operations with business objectives.

Day-to-day responsibilities include leading cross-functional clinical development teams, reviewing performance data and clinical outcomes, guiding evidence-based protocol development, and supporting the integration of new services or specialties. The SVP also mentors clinical leadership, builds partnerships with key stakeholders, and contributes to long-term planning for scalable, sustainable clinical growth.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience leading clinical development, program design, or clinical operations in healthcare, preferably in multi-site or growth-oriented environments.
- Strong background in clinical quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and outcomes measurement, with the ability to translate data into strategic action.




- Experience introducing and managing clinical technologies or digital health solutions, including workflow optimization and adoption support.
- Proven ability to partner with physicians, clinicians, and small business owners, building trust and driving aligned decision-making.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of guiding diverse teams in remote or distributed settings.
- Advanced clinical or healthcare-related degree (e.g., MD, DO, NP, PA, PharmD, RN with advanced degree, or equivalent) and/or an advanced business or health administration degree (e.g., MBA, MHA) is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, payer requirements, and value-based care models, with experience integrating these into clinical practice.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and developing scalable processes, standards, and best practices.
