The Role

- Lead the operations and development for a new European Sovereign Cloud initiative.
- Build and manage high-availability cloud services for EU customers.
- Collaborate with integral teams to influence the evolution of cloud services and technology.
- Enhance day-to-day operations, focusing on availability, reliability, performance, and efficiency.
- Participate in on-call rotations to resolve incidents outside of standard working hours.

What You'll Need

- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related IT discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience with scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, Ruby) or software development (e.g., Java, TypeScript).




- Strong understanding of Linux and networking fundamentals.
- Experience operating services in cloud environments or managing 24x7 high-availability distributed applications.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., CDK, CloudFormation, Ansible).
