Summary

We build AI and digital systems for organisations that can't afford for them to fail: UN agencies, international organisations, standards bodies, startups, and SMEs.

We're looking for a unicorn to do two tasks in one: find the work, and elaborate the technical solution that wins it. Not relay what the engineers tell you: understand it, challenge it, and write it well enough that a technical evaluator believes it.

This is a ground-floor role designed to progress into an Operations Manager or COO as the company grows.

Change the World, Bit by Byte

At T4G Lab, we are more than just a tech consultancy. We are partners in impact. We build technology that matters. We work with startups, non-profits, universities and United Nations to solve real-world problems in Health, Climate Change, Education, Research or Financial Access. We are looking for a seasoned Full Stack Engineer with deep experience to join our integral team. You will build scalable, high-impact solutions that empower organisations to move faster and do more good.

What You'd Actually Do

⚬ Own the pipeline: Track opportunities across portals, commercial channels, outreach and your own network. Run go/no-go decisions honestly; knowing what not to bid for is half the skill.

⚬ Write technical proposals: In coordination with our technical leadership, propose methodology, solution architecture, work breakdown, level-of-effort estimates, risk register, and team composition. In the client's template, to their page limit, on time.

⚬ Shape the solution: Sit in scoping calls,

work out what the partner actually needs versus what they've asked for, and design something we can deliver profitably.

⚬ Reach out and build relationships: Programme officers, CTOs, procurement leads, and potential consortium partners.

⚬ Build missing infrastructure: Bid library, reusable methodology boilerplate, past-performance dossier, CRM, roster, and framework registrations. You'd be creating it, not inheriting it.

Technology Requirements

Knowledge

⚬ You understand and can navigate: Python, Django / DRF, REST API design, PostgreSQL, React, TypeScript, data pipelines, AWS clouds, Docker, CD/CI. SPA versus server-rendered tradeoffs, design system budget efficiency, and responsive/accessible implementation costs.

⚬ You are fully comfortable using AI & Machine Learning tools, including our own internal ones. You understand agentic workflows, its potential and limitations.

⚬ Can navigate common issues like GDPR, data residency, SSO/SAML/OIDC, ISO 27001, WCAG accessibility, offline-first/low-bandwidth deployments, legacy integrations, and localisation.

If you can explain to a programme officer why their stated requirement is the expensive route to what they actually want,

and propose the cheaper one without losing the bid, you're the person we're looking for.

Who You Are

⚬ (Preferred) Technical Background: CS degree or equivalent (software engineering, informatics, maths, or a numerate engineering discipline). We prefer teaching commercial craft to a technical person over teaching technology to a salesperson.

⚬ Cross-Functional Experience: Combined experience in software development/management and technical sales, bidding or partnerships.

⚬ Proven Track Record: Experience developing partnerships, supporting startups or writing public procurement offers.

⚬ Language Skills: Full professional proficiency in English. Spanish is a strong advantage.

⚬ Strong Writing Capability: Ability to produce clear, cohesive technical proposals in client templates.

⚬ Self-Driven Work Style: Comfortable operating independently and lead.

What We Offer

⚬ Location & Employment: Fully remote (Spain-based preferred)

⚬ Compensation: Base plus commissions

⚬ Tech for Good Impact: Purpose-driven work building mission-critical AI and digital products for UN agencies, non-profits, international organisations, and high-impact startups.

⚬ International Working Environment: Collaboration with a global team and an international partnership ecosystem spanning Europe, Asia, America, Africa, and beyond.

⚬ Flexible Working Hours: Output-oriented culture based on trust, autonomy, and flexibility rather than rigid schedules or micro-management.
