Experteer Overview In this role, you contribute to technology, software, product and solution development within ABB Robotics, acting as the first Ru0026amp; D contact for product-related issues. You’ll prototype and test sensor calibration methods for autonomous mobile robots, and implement robust software to support global teams. You’ll deploy calibration tools on an AI-ready ARM64 SoC powering thousands of robots, shaping reliable, scalable perception systems. - Prototype and test novel sensor calibration algorithms and assess their impact on precision and robustness
- Perform root cause analysis with project teams and support field calibration issues
- Develop algorithm and software infrastructure code, including design, implementation, and debugging
- Produce and maintain high-quality C++,
Rust and Python code; participate in code reviews and design discussions
- Deploy calibration tools on the AI-ready ARM64 SoC

- 3+ years of industry experience in software engineering, robotics or computer vision
- Strong C++ and Python skills with focus on high-quality code and performance
- Rust experience is a plus; willingness to learn isrequired
- Strong analytical skills with interest in statistics and gradient-based optimization
