Role Description
FocusEconomics is a leading provider of economic analysis and forecasts. We have built a strong reputation as a trusted source of timely and accurate business intelligence for clients across a wide range of industries, including major financial institutions, multinational corporations, and government agencies worldwide.

We are looking for a proactive, organized, and people-oriented intern to join our Partnerships team. In this role, you will help expand and maintain our general network of economists and forecasting contributors. You will gain hands-on experience in business development, stakeholder engagement, CRM management, and cross-functional collaboration within an international company.

This position offers a unique opportunity to develop professional communication skills, build relationships with leading economists around the world, and gain exposure to the economic forecasting industry.

Important: You must be eligible to undertake an internship in Spain.
Responsibilities
Contributor Acquisition & Outreach
Research and identify potential economists, analysts,



and forecasting contributors who could join our forecasting network.
Gather and maintain accurate contact information for potential contributors.
Reach out to prospective contributors via email, phone calls, and LinkedIn.
Present our collaboration model and explain how our surveys and forecasting process work.
Answer questions and address any concerns from prospective contributors.
Track outreach activities and maintain accurate records of progress, including successful contacts, rejections, and inactive leads.
Contributor Onboarding & Database Management
Support new contributors throughout the onboarding process.
Send questionnaires and collect forecast submissions.
Set up new contributors in Salesforce and other internal systems.
Ensure contributor information remains accurate and up to date across all databases.
Monitor onboarding progress and follow up when necessary.
