About The Role





We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the EMI team, supporting Powens' electronic money institution services, including unlimited IBAN accounts, Direct Debit, Pay by Bank, card pay-ins, and instant SEPA pay-outs, all delivered through one API and one dashboard. You'll work with modern architectures, with a strong emphasis on microservices and hexagonal architecture.

What You'll Do

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance software systems.
Build and improve testing automation to catch regressions before they reach production.
Write unit and integration tests as a core part of your development process.
Contribute to portal improvements supporting B2B2B and B2B2C onboarding flows
Improve monitoring and visibility into transaction errors and bottlenecks using tools like Grafana.
Collaborate with the Product Owner, Tech Lead, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and design
