You will ensure the seamless creation and operation of the database platforms required by Sanofi's advanced data intensive initiatives for the betterment of our global patients and customers. A valued influencer and leader who contributes to making key datasets available to data scientists, analysts, and consumers throughout the enterprise to meet vital business use needs. A keen eye for improvement opportunities while continuing to fully comply with all data quality, security,



and governance standards.
Main responsibilities:
Technical Strategy & Database Architecture
Platform Leadership: Lead architecture, technical design, administration, security and evolution of database services, remaining up to date on company standards, industry practices and emerging technologies.
Optimized Module Design: Design and develop optimized modules meeting reliability, reusability, latency and performance requirements, while adapting those modules to optimize running costs.
Database Engineering Expertise: Provide highly-skilled development, industrialization and support of database platforms within a regulated environment, with strong experience in deployment of cloud databases, hosting platforms, storage and migration services such as AWS SCT and DMS, and strong experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Microsoft SQL, and Oracle including Engineered systems.
